.

Deployment Strategy:

Private Cloud

.

Why CrashPlan:

Secure, complete, easy to administer

.

What They Love:

Continuous and network-free backup for all users

Summary:

.

TaylorMade was encountering consistency and complexity issues with its Altiris data backup and recovery solution. Reporting was not accurate, leaving administrators without reliable information on the number of protected endpoints or completed backups. Though Altiris was installed on all client devices, the system did not provide continuous backup, and could only back up a handful of users at a time. In addition, the system lacked the ability to restore multiple folders. Cross-platform support was also a challenge with TaylorMade’s previous system—Altiris didn’t protect Macs, which represented 20 percent of TaylorMade’s employee machines.

.

After reviewing several possible providers, the company determined that CrashPlan enterprise endpoint backup would provide the security, thoroughness and speedy data retrieval the company required.
